Cape Town is known for many things but the beautiful beaches are a must! After a long hike there is nothing better to bring life back to your legs than a quick plunge into the icy water, well, maybe a beer is a good alternative as well :) , but for the purpose I'll point you in the direction of 6 of the top beaches to go to.
Camps Bay Beach - A trendy beach with white sand and crystal clear water, perfect for soaking up the sun.
Clifton Beaches - A series of four sheltered beaches with pristine white sand and calm waters.
Llandudno Beach - A secluded beach with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Twelve Apostles mountain range.
Muizenberg Beach - A popular beach with a vibrant surf culture and historic Victorian bathing pavilions.
Boulders Beach - A sheltered beach that is home to a colony of African penguins, making it a unique wildlife experience.
Bloubergstrand Beach: A popular kitesurfing and windsurfing beach known for its panoramic views of Table Mountain.
A little disclaimer is that, if you're in the mood for Caribbean warmth, Cape Town is not the place to be. Well, we can't have everything! in that case the East and North-Eastern coastline is the place to go!
KwaZulu-Natal has the warmest waters and the scuba-diving and snorkelling in Kosi Bay and Sodwana Bay incredible as well!
